Dear Amy, Hello! My name is Isabelle Brauer, I've been following your work for awhile and I'm a huge admirer. I graduated from Kenyon College in 2016, I majored in International Studies and Studio Art. I'm originally from the Bay Area but I’ve been living in New Orleans for the past year doing a teaching program, and working as a freelance photographer. I’ll be returning home this summer when my program ends, and I’m looking for opportunities to work in photography. I’m looking to find a job as a photography assistant or an internship of some kind. I was wondering if you were looking for an assistant, or knew of anybody who was. I also wanted to ask you some questions regarding your career. How did you break into the business of professional photography? What were some of your first jobs? How did you start shooting editorial and commercial photography? Do you think it's necessary to get an MFA to be taken seriously and be successful professionally Do you have any advice for a successful website? I designed my own - isabellebrauer.com, but I'm not sure if it is "professional" enough. Do you have any advice in general?
